Our chickens are free range raised on pastured locally, fed 100% vegetable-based and GMO-free diet which is 100% free of animal by-products, and, of course, they never receive antibiotics, steroids or hormones. Chickens are free range birds which means they spend time outside daily once they are mature enough to do so. The chickens are free to peck and scratch on a surface consisting of grasses and legumes as a chicken should.
Free range chicken is available in our Meat section year-round. We offer whole chickens, along with breast, thighs, wings and drumsticks from birds raised to our Quality Standards for chicken meat:
